Who is eligible for the scheme?
✔️ Your property must be off the gas grid (this means you must not have a mains gas supply in your home.
✔️ You must be a homeowner or private tenant to be eligible for the scheme
✔️ You or somebody livin in your home must be in receipt of a means tested benefit (universal credit, job seekers allowance, employment support, pension guarantee credit, income support, working tax credits, child tax credits, housing benefit, pension credit savings credit) OR you must have a household income below £31,000
❌ We cannot help if you live in a flat, apartment, static caravan or houseboat
❌ We cannot help if you have mains gas central heating

Is this scheme completely free?
The Free Heating Scheme is part of the ECO4 Scheme. The ECO4 scheme was launched in April 2022 funded by the UK Government and energy companies as part of the obligation to reach net zero by the Government deadline. As part of the scheme, over 3.5 million properties across the UK qualify for FREE upgrades to make their property more energy efficient including Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Panels and Insulation. This is fully funded as part of the ECO4 scheme and you do not have to pay a single penny.
Who is eligible for the scheme?
There are over 3.5 million homes across the UK eligible for the scheme. We have a simple eligibility checker which tells you in just 30 seconds whether you are eligible for the scheme. We do not require any personal information to tell you whether you are eligible.
Will I still own my roof if I get solar panels?
You will own all of the energy saving measures outright from day 1. No rental agreements, no contracts, nothing. You will still own your home and will not have any problems selling your property. In fact, we have found that these energy prices can actually increase the value of your home.
Do Air Source Heat Pumps work in the winter?
The latest Air Source Heat Pumps are incredibly powerful and efficient. They absorb heat from the outer air and use the warm air to heat your new heating system. Air Source Heat Pumps now have high seasonal coefficent of performance which means they are incredibly efficient in all weathers and temperatures.
Do Solar Panels still work in the UK?
We use Solar PV panels which rely on daylight, not sunlight to generate power. Whislt there is less sunlight during the winter, Solar PV panels still generate vast amounts of clean energy to use in your home.
